Hi everyone!!  I'm Lucía López and I'm a student of the double degree of Primary Education and English Studies in the Univerity of Málaga, A.K.A. UMA.

With this blog created for the "Didactics of Geometry" subject, what we want to achieve is, not only reviewing what has been done on class, but also expand our knowledge and be able to connect everything we learn with our personal experiences, likings, etc.

Geometry is a constant during someone's education, so it's obvious that we have been taught geometry a couple of times. For me, it hasn't been muy favourite part of maths, even though maths has always been my favourite subject. I think teachers are very responsible for this, it's on them to make less mistakes and be able to get the students attention to this topic that, wether it is in one thing or another, it's always present in our lifes.

I really am expecting that, when we end with this subject, we will be able to draw the student attention to this important topic.

As for relating this blog to something I'm interested in, I think it was a clear choice for me: cinema. It is something that I really enjoy and geometry it's really important when a film has to be created.
